History
".....All we could see was row upon row of German raiders, all heading for London. I have never seen so many aircraft in the air all at the same time.... From July to September 1940 the Battle of Britain raged between the German Luftwaffe and British RAF, the first major campaign fought entirely in the air. The fate of Britain lay in the hands of men, barely out of their teens, sent up in Spitfires and Hurricanes to confront waves of Luftwaffe fighters and bombers.
All the missions are based on true history. At beginning and end of each mission you can read detail story about the battle you are going to fight. You can also read full article about Battle of Britain in 'history' manual. Documentary video clips provides more historical image of the battle.
You will be flying British's finest fighter Supermarine Spitfire. Dogfight with Luftwaffe's prominent fighter Messerschmitt Bf-109, or intercept the Junkers Ju-87 dive bomber 'Stuka', which was a symbol of German air power. All the other major aircrafts in Battle of Britain are present, include British's another legend fighter Hawk Hurricane, German twin engine fighter Messerschmitt Bf-110, and 3 German Bombers Dornier Do-17 'flying pencil', Henkel He-111 and Junkers Ju-88.
